Dr. Sonia Bell, M.D.

Sonia Bell, MD is a Stanford Hospital and Clinics Residency Trained-Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/Sports Medicine Physician. She received her medical doctorate degree from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine and earned her undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley in physiology and anatomy.
After working as a physiatrist for six years, Dr. Bell obtained her fellowship training in Pain Medicine and Interventional Spine from Pain & Rehabilitation Consultants Medical Group. She is well versed in medical management of worker’s compensation patients, pain management, musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
Dr. Bell has 14 years of extensive sports medicine experience in the treatment and prevention of sports injuries and in performance enhancement of world class and professional athletes. She was a former ballerina for 13 years who trained and performed with the renowned San Francisco Ballet.
