Personal Statement
Open communication between the patient, doctor and medical team is the key to effective wellness and good health. Compassion and empathy drive the way I practice medicine, and patients will always know that I will do my best for them each and every time. A patient is never a number or a disease, they are a person, and together we will take care of health problems with dignity and honesty. I am a clinician with varied interests, including acute illnesses and preventive health and wellness. Runners, triathletes, weekend warriors, and athletes of all abilities will find that I am one of them. I have the heart of a small-town doctor because that is the community I served for many years.

I am an Ironman Triathlete, marathon runner, race director, and founder of one of the nation’s largest triathlon clubs. And of course, I love the Green Bay Packers! I was the on-air doctor for WLUK in Green Bay for 35 years, and broadcast journalism has been an important part of my career.
